1. In my estimation there's no dominant team in the ECAC this year, and
anything can (and probably will) happen in the playoffs.
 
2. The teams that have impressed me the most are Colgate and Clarkson.
They would both be excellent representatives of the ECAC in the national
tournament.
 
3. Cornell has the best assortment of overachievers in the league. If
they continue to play with the same confidence that they have so far,
they may win it all. Last year's Princeton team (number seven seed,
reached the ECAC finals by beating the number two team, Brown, and
the number one team, Clarkson) proved once and for all that a team can
compensate for average talent with intensity, emotion, and good
coaching.
