I was watching the SCSU-DU game on MSC last weekend, and in the 4-4 tie
Matt Cullen absolutely was the key to St. Cloud's final two goals.  One
of em he drew the d towards him and made a perfect pass from the boards
to a fellow SCSU player entering the DU zone, giving SCSU a 2 on 1.. On
another, he skated the puck into the DU zone.. It was a 2 on 3 I believe,
1 DU player met CUllen at the blue line, as they met, Cullen made a great
feed to another HUsky.. getting the DU defense turned around and scoring..
 
I have been under the impression that Woog wanted to get recruits signed
early and Cullen didn't want to commit that early.. Cullen woulda been
devastating on the Gopher PP.. ALways fun to think about..
