 Martin L. wonders if the local media and/or fans are concerned about the
 apparent "down-turn" of the Gopher program.  I am NOT VERY Concerned at this
 time.  The season is young, with many more games to be played.  Perhaps the
 team lost those two games ON PURPOSE just so that Doug Woog could get his 200th
  win at home (and become the Gophers All-Time winningest coach) ;-) :-)
 
 Seriously folks, it is too early to wonder all about those polls, they
 literally don't mean a thing unless it's the END of the season.
 
 As Jack Blatherwick (a former Gopher asst coach) said:
          "The ONLY TIME you want to be #1 in the polls is on the LAST DAY
                              of the season."
