Being fortunate enough to be in the sports information business and
lucky enough to have worked and traveled with hockey teams at
Michigan State and now Northern Michigan, it has been my experience
that coaches who do not shake hands after games or series' are the
exception. Despite the emotional, hard-fought nature of most college
hockey series', it's my recollection that the majority of coaches
(assistants included) shake hands with the opposing coaches and
players.

Princess Melanie: how is the UAA goalie Krake doing? He played
extremely well in the NCAAs last spring, as did the entire Seawolves
team. They were a resilient bunch here in Marquette last spring
during the NCAA quarterfinals.

Looks like we're finally getting some of that white stuff.
Fortunately, nothing from that storm in Minnesota got to us!

Go NMU Wildcats!
