I just talked to Bill Butters on the phone and he had talked to Jason's folks
this week. Jason is making progress towards his recovery. He is a little
frustrated, as his activities have been curtailed, as would anyone who recently
had open heart surgery. No upper body lifting for a while. There is still hope
that he will be back on the team this fall, and not have to red-shirt.
 
Anyway, that's all I know. Many of you have asked about him and I wanted to
get some sort of an update out to you. I don't know if I'll get any more
information on his recovery, but if I do I will be sure to let you all know!
 
And if I hear how he liked all our e-mail messages, I will be sure to type it
in.
