A quick followup to my inflammatory comments in light of the note on the
NCAA limit on active weeks (which I had forgotten about)...
 
This would make much more sense, that Delventhal and/or the AD opted to start
practice late because of *this* rule (although Union is off between Dec 7
and Dec 27 and could take some time then).  But still, someone is in error
by reporting that the limitations on Union's practice schedule are due to it
being a DivIII school.  It's either the paper or the school, which furnished
the information.  And in that case, they are still misleading people by
suggesting that Union had no choice in determining its own practice schedule.
