I played my college hockey for ACHA Member Western Connecticut
State University.
        In the 1993 ACHA Div. II Tournament in Iowa, we were destroyed by
Buffalo State (now Div. III) 16-3.  Ferris State's club team was in our
half of the draw and felt they were the best team in the tourney.
Their attitides around the rink were not well received.  The final game
of the round robin matched Buffalo State against Ferris State.
 
        The final score was Buffalo 13 - Ferris 2.  The only chant left by the Western fans and players directed at Ferris was "WE SCORED MORE!!".  It was
effective - a Ferris player fired a puck at us and we had to flee to our
bus to avoid a melee.
 
        Wow - what excitement!!
