I didn't see the telecast that they did (I was at the game).
 
I don't think they are very good. Paul Braun has gotten spoiled
by the TV, and no longer does "play by play" more like "gab and
gab and a goal!" on the radio...
 
Howie knows hockey, and has good insight into what the Badgers
are doing. I don't know how he is doing a neutral game.

"Howie Sr." was a goalie at CC in the 60s, when Bob Johnson was the
coach. He is from Grand Forks,ND. I think he and Sauer were teammates, but
I'm not sure.
 
In the 70s, he was the hockey coach at Madison Memorial High School.
His teams included Mark and Peter Johnson, sons of Badger Bob, and won
several state titles.
