You are correct - Thuss played a marvelous game. As a long-time fan of
Laker hockey I have been priviledged to see some great goalies play at
Lake State including Hoffort, Madeley, Greenlay and Lacher. Thuss
withstood a barrage last night. The Lakers outplayed Miami in every
conceivable way, yet with most of the third period to play it was a tie
game. Shots on goal after two periods were 41-6 and ended up 55-18. Kudos
to him for playing so well - especially on the road.

Now we just have to beat U of Mich's Turco on Saturday - another
outstanding netminder.

BTW - Turco is from Lake State's backyard in Soo, Ontario. He wasn't
recruited because at the time LSSU had three outstanding goalies. One
turned pro and is starting for the Boston Bruins, the other left the team
when the third goalie (Grahame) got more playing time.

Go Lakers!
