BTW, these were quarterfinal scores from the ECAC North-Central-South
tourney; all favorites won.  Semifinals will take place Saturday at
higher seeds.  That means #3 Skidmore at #2 Fitchburg State, and the
winner of the Fairfield-Framingham State game at #1 UMass-Dartmouth.
For these teams, this really is their "national championship" - you
could call it DivIII-AA hockey since none of these teams ever get NC$$
tourney bids.  The final will be next Wednesday.
 
Does anyone know the score of the other quarterfinal game last night,
Fairfield vs Framingham State?
