CLARKSON HOCKEY REPORT
(courtesy of Clarkson SID Gary Mikel)

WEEKEND RECAP AND MISCELLANY
Clarkson's two losses at home was it was swept in a weekend homestand
in the Cheel Arena's history and the first time since Jan. 1988, when
the Knights lost to Merrimack and Lowell.

Clarkson is a mere 1-3-1 in its last 5 home games, in contrast to
its 9-1-2 overall road record.

Clarkson has clinched a playoff spot and will make an appearance in
the ECAC playoffs for the 33rd time in the 34 year history of
the tournament; I think the Cornell is the only team to make the ECAC
tournament more times (~24 times) than Clarkson has made the ECAC
semifinals (22 times)... (but don't quote me on that).

PREVIEW
The Golden Knights will battle the University of Vermont and
Dartmouth College in the final home weekend. Earlier this year,
Clarkson beat Vermont 4-2 in Burlington and, the previous night,
downed Dartmouth 7-4 in Hanover. Clarkson leads the all-time series
with the Catamounts by 40-13-1 while they lead Dartmouth 44-14-3.
