I can't really comment on Askew's exploits as a whole, but I can say that he
was clean as a whistle the night before RPI played UVM.
Friday night RPI played Dartmouth and got pasted 7-3. Askew didn't see the
penalty box that entire game.
Interestingly enough, another RPI player delivered a cheapshot against
Dartmouth.
Starter Bryan Masotta, who was lifted from net after getting shelled early,
inexplicably tripped a Dartmouth player as the teams were crisscrossing to head
off the ice after the second period.
Masotta got a 10-minute misconduct for that infraction.
Undoubtedly, Masotta was frustrated that he had been hooked, not to mention the
fact the RPI already trailed 5-2 after two periods and were en route to a
blowout loss.

But certainly the Askew cheapshot has to stem from a weekend's worth of
frustration: RPI got smacked in back to back road games, thus spoiling a great
opportunity to solidify their position as one of the ECAC frontrunners.
