Well, I ran into a professor at the game and we came up with a prediction for
the score tonight to be 4-2...hopefully in UAA's favor. :) Turns out, I think
I shall have to start predicting all the games. *grin*

The Sewolves came out just as I think a lot of us expected after last night's
dissimal performance, and showed that they can be a quality team when they all
do their part and work together. The Huskies performed at about the same level
as last night, but unfortunately for them, it turned out not to be enough
tonight. Although it was an end to end game back and forth, I think the
Seawolves had the upper hand just a little bit in most areas...all except shots
on goal, which the Huskies clearly dominated...though not a lot of them were
quality shots persay.

One interesting note was that senior UAA goaltender Lee Schill didn't play
tonight, though I don't know if that was his decision or coach's; he certainly
didn't get a whole lot of help last night. On the contrary, Chris Davis not
only preformed well, but received excellent help from his team tonight.

All in all both teams played hard tonight, with a lot of good clean hockey (UAA
was 1 for 1 on the powerplay, and MTU was 0 for 3 or 4 I believe).

It's kind of unfortunate that UAA now has three weeks off since they are
finally starting to pull to together...but I guess that means the real test
will come in January when they come back and play Wisconsin.

Also, UAA broke it's approximately 26 game consecutive sellout streak this
weekend as both nights only had about 5000 people. I'm guessing this can be
attributed to finals. How unfortunate.

Good night and everyone have a good Christmas and New Year!

Shane
