Here is my monthly "Where Are They Now" entry.
 
     For those of you who may want to tune out early, this is only
     regarding former UW players.
 
     Kelly Fairchild - After leaving the Minnesota Moose, is now with St.
     Johns of the AHL.  He currently has 10 goals.
 
     Duane Derksen - He is currently playing with the Minnesota Moose.
     After his 25 game contract expires, he says that he will play on the
     Canadian National team.
 
     Mark Osieki - He is with the Moose also.  No current stats.
 
     Chris Tucker, Blaine Moore, and Andrew Shier - They are all playing
     with Richmond, the unbeaten leader of the East Coast League.  Andrew
     Shier had previously been cut by the Moose.
 
     Jim Carey - Playing with the Portland Pirates, where he helped the
     team set a professional hockey record unbeaten streak of 17 games.
