The information about Brown is inaccurate.

Brown began playing hockey in 1897. In fact, Brown and Harvard are
credited with playing the first intercollegiate hockey game in the
United States, on Soldiers Field in Boston, in 1897. Brown won 6 to 0.
A commemorative plaque of the event can be found in the lobby of Brown's
Meehan Auditorium. There's also a large banner in the rink with the
words "Brown Men's Hockey Since 1897."

Brown had no coaches before the 1926-27 season, but fielded teams
between 1897-98 and 1906-07, winning 16 games, losing 37, and tieing 3.
