Subject:  NCAA announces new championship tourney format
 
If the dates above are accurate, it looks like there's going to be almost
two weeks between the end of each league's postseason tournament and the
start of the NCAAs, rather than one.  I wonder if the leagues are now going
to be moving their seasons back a week, what with the new 34-game limit.

The CCHA is apparently going to delay the season opening by one week and
rotate the first week's games to fill the otherwise open week at the end
of the season.  This looks to me like the sort of the maneuver they use
to modify the schedule from year to year anyway.
