Let me say that I couldn't agree more with Pam's comments on the use of
Minnesotans only on the U ice. This is an important element in the
continuing strength of hockey in Minnesota and has always been so.
 
I am also reminded of a controversy on this subject back in the early
sixties when there was a great debate about whether Lou Nanne was really
a Minnesotan or if in fact he was a Canadian import. Does anyone recall
that debate?
