The Canisius Griffins made the most of their home opener tonight, beating
Div. III Buffalo State, 10-1.  Eight different players scored, led by
captain Derrick Bishop with a goal and four assists.  The Griffs shelled
the Buff State goalies with 48 shots on goal.  4 goals came on the power
play.

Shots on goal:
Canisius        13      24      11      48
Buff State       4       7       7      18
 
Canisius now stands 2-1 on the season.  Next game at ECAC/West opponent
Hobart on Saturday.
