As long as the coaches are not involved in any way and attendance is
not mandatory, I don't see anything wrong with captain's practices.
However, special discounts for ice time should not be provided. Here
at Maine it costs about $125 for an hour of ice time before midnight.
I think the proce drops to $100 after midnight. I don't know if
the men's team has to rent, but I know the women's club has to.
