The question I have always had is, what happened to cause OSU to get
to where they are?  Did the commitment to the program change over the
last decade?  Because from 1978-79 through 1983-84, OSU won 30 games
or more once and 20 or more 5 times.  They finished second in the CCHA
4 times over that stretch and had a number of players who rolled up
some serious numbers.  It's almost hard to believe that it was not
that long ago that OSU was one of the CCHA powers and one of the
better teams in all of college hockey.
