Just got the word. The University of Minnesota is proud to announce that they
have hired Mike Guentzel as the new assistant hockey coach. Guentzel replaces
Mark Mazzoleni.
 
Mike Guentzel played for the Gophers from 1981-1985 and was the team captain
in the 1984-85 season. Guentzel is a Minnesota native and hails from
Greenway-Coleraine, on the Iron Range.(Northern Minnesota!)
 
I should have the entire press release tomorrow and will type it in if I have
time.
 
Welcome back coach Guentzel!!!
