re: Penn State and ECAC - this issue has come up before.  There is no Big
Ten (11) hockey league.  Big Ten teams that do have hockey (Minn., Wisc,
Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State) compete is different leagues (WCHA,
CCHA).  I see no reason why Penn Stae shold necessarily want to compete in
one of the two leagues currently having Big Ten teams.  A Big Ten League
makes no sense until the other Big Ten institutions see the light and
participate in Div I hockey (will never happen at schools like Iowa, Illinois,
Perdue, IMHO.
