The most recent Maine incident made McPaper again today, for those of you who
don't normally read one of the nation's slightly-to-the-right-of-ultra-liberal
newspapers. Fortunately, however, the pairings for the four conference tour-
naments were included on the next-to-last page of the Sports section.

P. S. As the signature line states, West Virginia (along with Rutgers) will
be a full member of the Big East in the 1995-96 basketball season in
a compromise decision by the conference. Temple and Virginia Tech will
remain as football members only. Wonder if John Chaney's string of
outbursts had anything to do with the decision? :-) (BTW, I hate
Temple almost as much as I hate Penn State and Michigan.)
