A story:

   DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire's second-leading scorer
as well as a back-up goalie and a freshman forward have been
suspended after an off-campus fight, coach Dick Umile said Tuesday.
Senior forward Rob Donovan, an assistant captain who has
30 points, was suspended indefinitely. Junior goaltender Mike
Heinke, who has a 9-7-2 record but hasn't started since Feb.
18, received the same sentence.
Tom Nolan, who assisted on the game-winning goal in the
Wildcats' last game, was suspended for one week.
Umile said it was the first time he has suspended a player
in his four seasons at UNH.
"That's the price you pay for being an athlete and being
in a situation you shouldn't be in," he said.
Durham police were called to an off-campus apartment
early Sunday morning. About 20 to 25 people were there,
and five had been assaulted, a police spokesman said.
One person went to the hospital.
Police expect to file assault charges against four
people by the end of the week, the spokesman said. He
wouldn't say whether the suspended players are among them.
A verbal argument started the fight, but the spokesman
would give no specifics.
The Wildcats (19-11-2, 10-10-2 Hockey East) play
Maine on Friday in their final regular-season game.
The playoffs begin March 10.
