If Woody Carville is lacking in competence, why even keep him?
After all, the athletic department is not the most important
organization at Maine; he may wind up hurting more people in more-
significant ways.
 
OTOH, if he isn't so lacking, why reassign him at all?  He will need
to familiarize himself with his new position, as will his replacement.
 
Could it be that this move is window dressing?  Let's hope not.
