And guess who was one of the officials in the game?  I'm sure everybody on
Hockey-L who watches WCHA games is right now saying "Brutal Bob Ames"!
 
How in the world can a guy in the locker room with an injury get a major for
fighting?  Another DU player was being held in a headlock by the DU coach
because he had already received a game DQ.  Another fighting penalty would
have gotten him a two game DQ.  The Denver coach knows he didn't throw a
punch.  Amazing, he also got a (two game) DQ.
 
I know refs are humans and humans make mistakes but this is unreal.
 
I know Jack McDonald, the Athletic Director at DU reads this list.  Can't
you guys talk to Foyt (who himself is a questionable ref) and get rid of
clowns like Ames?  Does Ames have pictures of Foyt or Breitenbach at the
last WCHA convention?  Why do us fans, WHO PAY THEIR SALARIES through tuition
and ticket sales, have to put up with this crap?
