1. It's a measure of the decline of Cornell as a hockey power that
losing in itself isn't disappointing, but the Faithful had to be happy
with the Big Red's performance against NU.

2. In their last four games, Cornell has scored 1, 2, 3, and 4. Look
for 11 goals in the home and home against Colgate :-)

3. For the second straight year, the 'Gate pair has the potential to
be the defining moment of the Cornell season. Last year the Red
were swept, and the loss in Hamilton (Ed Skazyk's debut)
featured everything we'd later come to expect from the team:
depletion of the roster by illness/injury; a half-hearted
performance by those who were there; and unbelievably bad
goaltending. Look for the next two games, in the wake of two very
strong outings against good teams, to tell the tale for '94.

4. Contest:

Cornell (2-3-3 in ECAC) has 14 remaining league games.

Home (7): Colgate, Vermont, Dartmouth, SLU, Clarkson, Yale,
Princeton.

Road (7): Colgate, Clarkson, SLU, Brown, Harvard, RPI, Union.

Question: How many points will the Big Red take at home, on the
road (and total) in the remainder of the RS?

Closest to the actual total gets national recognition at the end of the
season.

5. The shots total for the third period of the Northeastern
gamewas a joke. 17-6? Probably closer to 9-8 or 10-9. Oh well,
Eddy's not complaining.
