As Erik has already posted, the huskies scored 3 third period
goals to come from behind to beat the Gophers 5-4 in the Hall
of Fame Game last night. All american and preseason favorite
for WCHA MVP Jamie Ram came into the game with 10:34 left in the
second period to shut out the Gophers the rest of the way.

One thing the paper mentions is that All american defenseman Chris si
McAlpine of the gophers was ejected at 15:27 of the first period,
a victem of the WCHA's more stringent fighting rules enacted this
season for throwing a punch..................This is the first I've
heard of these new anti fighting rules in the WCHA anybody out there
have any more details????
