Michigan State University has a mascot. A "Spartan" of course. Looks alot like
 the "Spartan" you've perhaps seen on MSU's informal logos.
 
He can usually be seen hanging around in the stands, and on occassion, takes to
 the ice between periods.
 
He probably stays off the ice as much as possible, since his skating skills (or
 lack thereof) tend to produce some entertainment (at the expense of his ego
 and/or derriere (sp?) for the fans.
