I have a friend who went to Wisconsin. His father is/was an engineering
professor at Wisconsin. My friend's father explained to me why he had a big
"Beat Minnesota" (or something to that effect) button on his red sweatshirt he
wore to Wisonsin games. The sweatshirt wasn't from Wisconsin. It was a Go Big
Red sweatshirt, which might even be from his undergrad days.

CORNELL!!! :-D :-D :-D

However, he was MVP of the 1996 and 1997 ECAC Championships, not 2006
Frozen Four all-tournament goalie. It has been weird to watch Bryan
Elliott wearing red and white, but maybe it made it easier for us
Cornellians to support Wisconsin.
