Tom and I drove 360 miles north up here to Fairbanks to watch this series. We
expected to watch another Seawolf victory. WRONG. UAA is no longer
undefeated on the road and no longer undefeated against the Independents.
Though, UAA still leads the season series 4-1.

Overall, I thought that with the exception of the second period, the Seawolves
dominated play firing off 73 shots verses the Nanook's 48. However, anytime
that you subject your goalie to three 1-0 breakaways, it is bound to be tough to
pull of a win. :( The Nanooks did play well, and definitely capitalized on the
Seawolves' mistakes.

Nanook Center Dean Fedorchuk scored a hat trick and Tavis MacMillian earned
himself two goals and two assists.

Trying to type this up on a keyboard that is missing several keys has gotten
the best of me. Hope tomorrow's game is better! (12-1 UAA?) :)
