Sorry to be so late responding to this...

This was not just rumor.  We read it in the Star-Tribune (via internet from
our hotel room in Anaheim) Saturday morning.  And the article wasn't just a
repetition of rumors, it was directly from Woog.  But we ALSO heard between
periods at the arena that he "had announced his resignation" on Saturday.
This was from someone at the Marriott who claimed it came from the coaches
and press.  So be careful when trusting those rumors!  The facts from the
newspaper article got pretty distorted once they left the Concierge Floor,
I guess.  That kind of game of telephone is why we were looking in the
Strib online to see that the info came from direct quotes of Woog.
