With the recent discussion concerning the disdain towards Dave Spehar at
Duluth, it raises the issue over who is the most disliked player at
competing rinks.

At BU's Walter Brown Arena, that distinction this year belongs to
Merrimack's Tom Welby. Welby had the audacity to skate up to his blue
line and applaud after his team took a one goal lead in last Friday's
game against the Terriers. Welby gets one point for chutzpah, but is
deducted two points for acting rudely as a guest, while earning another
point deduction for stoning BU in last year's Hockey East
quarterfinals. His behavior shall not be forgotten nor forgiven.

Second place goes to anyone wearing a BC sweater.
