Oh, I think you're wrong...people on the East Coast do notice players
beside  the vast number of Hobey candidates and winners having attended the
University of Maine.
 
I am unsure how many residents from the West Coasters can be used when
comparing others to a sure Hobey finalist Steve Kariya (ex of N. Vancouver
BC), senior on the HE-leading Black Bear squad.
 
 
 
 
The above just to remind people that cryptic references sometimes end up
