the high percentage injury in both sports, of course is concussion. If one got
bite that would double your indemnity (repayment for damage, or in the case of
collegiate sports additional penalties assessed)! Most people don't equate the
two sports (boxing and hockey) as being related (though the similarity becomes
more apparent with Selleke's biting DQ)! But, when neurological/medical
experts look at injury statistics there is a prevalence of concussion in both,
which at this time still supersedes biting! (-:
