I didn't know where to turn for this recruiting question. Sorry to get off
the playoff topic but this is more important to me right now.

Seems the parents in our hockey organization are being sold on College
Recruiting Services for $40 to $100 a pop. A few are claiming a 93% success
rate at sttting up the whole process from NCAA Clearinghouse issues to
setting up contact with the school, getting the kid accepted by the school
and hockey program.

I don't believe in these services and I'm trying to urge the parents
alternate means such as all star tournaments, Chicago hockey showcase, and
Hockey Night in Boston, and advanced level camps as a means of exposure.

I need feed back on this because I never heard of any college bound "hockey"
athletes using this service. If so please educate me.

I will list this on Hockey3 as well.

Regards,
Dan Otten
