I say you HAD a 2:00 power play, then you blew it by getting a penalty.
 
Count it as a failed pp.
 
In addition, the initially penalized team earned the quick pp kill through
discipline?
 
OTOH, after the initial 2:00, they get a pp and shorthanded for two
seconds, too.  I can't justify these in the same fashion...  Those two
seconds might make a difference now that he doesn't have to "tag up" when
coming out of the box, though. :)
 
In addition, these opinions if mine have nothing to do with what the rules
might say--it's just my opinion.
