1995-96 FRIAR HOCKEY
Friars gunning for a return trip to HOCKEY EAST finals

The Friars are looking to return to the HOCKEY EAST championship game following last year's late-season run through the playoffs. Head Coach Paul Pooley enters his second season with an experienced team that has adapted to a new philosophy and style of p
lay. Make sure to get your tickets now as the new look Friars host some of the top teams in the nation from college hockey's premier league - HOCKEY EAST!
Look for the Friars to pick up right where they left off beating the nation's top ranked teams. The Friars' home schedule boasts the return of the two team's that played in Providence for the 1995 NCAA Hockey Championship. The National Champion Terriers
return most of their top players from an exciting squad and will certainly be looking to get back at the Friars. The Friars - the last team to beat BU - will hope to repeat that feat again this year. The University of Maine Black Bears, the national cham
pion runner-up, will be in Schneider for a two-game weekend that promises to be exciting. The Friars last meeting with the Black Bears was a 7-3 upset in the HOCKEY EAST semifinals. The stage is set for these two rematches - so get your tickets today.

HOCKEY EAST opponent New Hampshire, a 1995 NCAA Tournament participant, also comes to Schneider looking for revenge. The Friars' dramatic overtime HOCKEY EAST quarterfinal win last season ended the talented Wildcats' hopes of a league title. Also on this
year's schedule are HOCKEY EAST foes Boston College, Northeastern, Merrimack, UMass-Amherst, UMass-Lowell and crosstown rival Brown University. The Friars, who upset the # 10 nationally-ranked Brown Bears last season, will look to continue their winning
ways vs. the Bears. Don't miss any of the exciting action - order your tickets today!
