The first big surprise was seeing First-year Dan Brenzavich in the net over
Senior Jason Gates and Junior Matt Weder. He held up well in the beginning,
ending up on his knees a lot, but got back up pretty quickly. He really
didn't face much the last two period, unfortunately more went by him. It is
still unknown who will start on Sunday vs UM-Lowell.

It seems that Colgate has a lot more depth than the previous three years,
both offensively and defensively. The defense collapsed a couple times, and
had some trouble with the speed of a few of Merrimack's players later in
the game but showed much improvement over last year. Offensively, the talent
is there, and performed well with points coming from both veterans and
younger players.
