The Bulldogs are on KDAL-AM 610.  Yes, both games were close, but
unfortunately the Dogs couldn't pull it out.  Friday they just fell apart
with about 5 minutes left, and on Saturday Mark Strobel had a nice dive
(I gave him a 9.8, it was right in front of me) that Shepherd somehow
called a hook and the other Strobel (Mike) scored on the ensuing power
play.  The Dogs had 2 good chances with the goalie pulled but couldn't do
it.  They had about 4 shots that had a good shot at going in that didn't
make it on Saturday night, due mostly to good saves by Daubenspeck (sp?).
 
Oh well, we'll just have to take care of those pesky Gophers next
weekend. ;^)
