Comments:
Michigan scored on the first shift of the game and dominated
from there. Robb Gordon, Kevin Hilton, Warren Luhning and
Brendan Morrison each tallied three points. Mike Knuble
left the game after two periods and did not return. Al Loges
looked good in his first collegiate start...but was admittedly
never tested for an extended period. Freshman Marty Turco
relieved and had to wait nearly a period before making his
first collegiate save. The only threat on Turco was Brendan
Morrison, who carried it through his own crease and almost
knocked it in.

It could have been worse for York, but Joe Dimalne didn't
cave following the early shelling. He turned away all 18
second period shots, including many good opportunities.

Next up for Michigan: Colorado College at Yost on Oct 21-22.
