If CC and Minnesota tie, CC would get the tie breaker.  The Gophers got swept
by CC at their arena the opening weekend of the season.  [Remember the
UofM 0-5-1 start :-( ]
 
The Gophers didn't get to play CC at Mariucci this year because of the 10-team
format.  Bummer.
 
The Gophers have the tie-breaker against Wisconsin because the Gophers
are FOUR AND 0 verses the Badgers.  (Sorry, just had to rub it in.)
 
I think the Wooger has won the WCHA regular season 4 out of his nine years
here.  The other five he was second.  Not bad.
 
Let's not talk about how the Gophers do in the WCHA play-offs in the St. Paul
Civic Center.
 
My money is on the Gophers.  Look for the Gophers to sweep the Huskies
and CC to win at home then choke on the road against Denver and knowing
they gotta win the game (the Gopher game will end about an hour before
the Denver-CC tilt is over.)
 
Anybody out there see the t-shirt a St. Cloud student printed up for the
games this weekend?  It has a Huskie *mounting* Goldy Gopher with the
caption "Hey U of M stay a while, We're gonna do it Huskie style!"
 
Its a riot (although some St. Cloud students were protesting it).
