True, but that has to be taken with a grain of salt since Cleary is
the consummate anti-professional.  It seems that for him, hockey does
not exist if it's not amateur.  I've often wondered if his views had
any effect on some of Harvard's better players having bypassed the NHL
or not stuck around for long.  Many times, I have heard or read him
quoted on the evils of the NHL.
