Well, it was certainly interesting to hear Robin's point of
view on the game.

I do agree that Currie did not have to make tons of spectacular
saves (like Rogles did last year in Canton). However, SLU dominated
the 2nd and 3rd (esp 3rd) periods and were constantly buzzing aorund
the net. Currie did make at least 3 or 4 big saves (IMHO) when it
was 3-2 thus preserving the lead. I was rather impressed.

Conroy did get thrown out of the face off practically every time
he was out there. I was afraid he was going to take a penalty he
was jawing so fervently w/the linesman. Hope he keeps his cool in future.

Robin's right in that the penalty for hitting the goalie was when
Currie went behind the net to play the puck. Which makes it even
worse in that SLU never got a penalty for running Currie, which they
did several times. For example, chopping at the goalie's glove when
he's trying to cover the puck is one thing but it's a little different
when the whistle has already blown. I remember seeing that at least once.

SLU did miss a lot of shots but Currie did have to make a number
of big saves when it was 3-2.

BTW- SLU outshot Clarkson 10-1 in the entire third period, not the first
15 minutes as I reported earlier. Clarkson outscored SLU in the period, 1-0.
