Now wait a minute.  How can the 1998 finals be awarded before 1997--unless
L.A. is getting the 1997's (the Mighting Ducklings?)  And if 1997 and 1998 are
already accounted for, the normal rotation has really been upset.  New England
would have the championships two out of three years (Providence 1996, Boston
1998.)  WHAT HAPPENED TO ALBANY?  And just how DOES the NC$$ pick their sites?
And the Midwest would go four years without a tournament within 1000 miles?

This is perhaps more ludicrous than the first part of the story.  1995?  Yeah,
and Larry Bird is going to come out of retirement to lead the Celtics to their
first title, after the BoSox celebrate their first World Series championship.
(No need to flame me, I'm a Mets fan.)
