The University of Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Miami University Redskins
tonight, 3-1, behind WCHA Freshman of the year Jim Carey. Wisconsin's previous
playoff experience was a deciding factor in this game. Miami was setting up
countless chances, but they couldn't beat Carey. Wisconsin moves on to face
Michigan tomorrow night.
