Well looks like no one has posted much thus far concerning tonights *sigh*
misery :) So I will do the honors :)

Consolation: RPI-Harvard
*sigh*
Still not the RPI team I know and love. RPI DID play better than they did
last night against Clarkson, but were still missing passes and messing up
on plays. The first period gave me hope as I saw a flare of RPI glory, but it
was short lived, as Harvard took RPI's 1-0 lead and made it I believe, 3-1
Harvard... after tying it 1-1, Harvard got two very quick goals, maybe :20
apart, and I think this kinda broke RPI's remaining spirit, as Harvard walked
over them the rest of the way pretty much, despite RPI's two more goals.
Except for one lousy goal (he MAY have been screened) Little did an excellent
job net-minding again this evening. Harvard really crashed RPI's defense, and
had a lot of QUALITY shots, although the total number may be low. Harvard
did not do as good of a job as Clarkson of stopping RPI's breakout but
RPI did a dandy job of messing it up for themselves most of the time :)
I cant really recall any amazing *looking* goals, besides one RPI goal that
came up and hit the net *just* inside the crossbar and came to a rest on its
side about an inch inside the red line, from where I was sitting, it looked cool
anyway :) RPI heckled Mr. Tracy ALL night long, and he seemed to get back
at them a bit as he jumped up and down in front of us after Harvard scored
the final empty-net goal with 5 seconds left in the game. Aside: I just have
to comment and apologize for how utterly RUDE a lot of RPI (notice I said a lot,
not all) actually it is probably more like a select few, such things as 'I did
your mother Tracy`, 'so and so like small boys', and ' you piece of s***
you f'ing suck, blah blah blah'. Heh heh, a few of our more.. eccentric
fans were yelling how Harvard sucks cause they lost to Brown... just about
the time when WE were losing to Harvard.. oh well, so be it :) They actually
started the 'whats the color of dog ****' chant.. heh heh oh well :)

Championship: Clarkson-Brown

Brown came out with about the same intensity as they had last night, and played
very well, but Clarkson also had the same intensity as the previous night, and
this was just too much for Brown. Overall this was an excellent game, a
scoreless first period despite LOTS of shots (10 for Brown and 18 for Clarkson)
Both goalies were continuously pelted all night (47 total shots after the
second period and only *1* goal), needless to say Rogles :) and Finch both
had wonderful games. Each team had many opportunities, but Clarkson had a few
more and Brown just could not hold out any longer as Clarkson put in its first
goal. The goal actually was slow and kinda sloppy (unseen by Finch I think)
Brown did not give up however and scored its only goal with about a nimute
left in the game to make it 2-1, and to stop the 13th ever shutout in ECAC
history :) Clarkson added an empty netter with a few seconds left (I think it
was with a few seconds left anyway :), I am quite tired :) and the puck dropped
to let time run out and to see a very happy group of players crowd the ice.
They should :), they deserved it :) Unfortunately, we didnt stay to see
who got MVP :( so someone plz post it :) I think it should go to #11 of
Clarkson, names are not a good thing with me :), but he played REALLY well...

Well I guess that's about all I can remember at this hour :) Does anyone
know when the bids for NCAA are announced? And could someone post them as soon
as they are, does RPI still have a chance? *I* would think so, as neither
Umass or UNH are as good as RPI, IMHO :) Oh well, tis late and I need sleep...
Ohh one last thing.. I noticed that both Clarkson and Brown have 7 and 8
seniors on their teams, respectively.. so... RPI, ECAC champs in 94? :) :) :)
