RPI Engineers had a fun weekend in trouncing the North country.
Friday night, the Skating Saints from St. Lawrence UniversiTy were skated over
3-1!!! Hell, they didn't even score their sole goal until near the end of the
game! The game was pretty clean.
 
        Saturday, Clarkson came to town. So did a s***load of Clarkson fans
wearing these stoopid looking tam-o-shanters! Their pep band was no match
against ours too!!! The team did better than I expected by 50%: I predicted
RPI would win by 4-2 score,and RPI actually won 4-3. Also not too many
confrontations between the two teams. However, Jeff Brick did deliver a hard
yet legal check to Todd marchant of Clarkson. You shoulda seen this- I mean it
was BOOM!!! OUT-OF-COMMISSION!!!! Boy was it a masterpiece. And Todd did live
to skate again later on that night.
 
        By the way, that 4-3 score should look familiar to Croak-son fans.
That's because Clarkson croaked to RPI by the same score last february. And in
addition, St. Lawrence lost the next day to us by the same score. Both were
OT victories. Is this a sign of things to come or what???????
