Um, is this part of what the Bradley Center said or is this a
prediction by someone?

I can not defend their policy. However, a couple of points:

	1. They are very worried about the NC$$ guarantee. If you
recall, there was a bit of a hassle earlier this year
about signing the contract immediatly.... when none of the other
hosts have had to sign a contract until AFTER they had
sold enough tickets to meet the guarantee. My guess is
that this is not really attempt at setting priorities so
much as enticing people on their mailing list to buy now.

	2. There are very few (some would say none, but I can't
say that for sure) *BAD* seats for a hockey game at the
Bradley Center. Of course, upper deck seats are further
away than lower seats, and therefore not as "good"
(usually -- some people like them).

	3. There is probably a lot of overlap between the potential
members of groups 1 and 3 -- Badger Season ticket holders
and previous Showdown ticket purchasers. I don't know about
group 2. I don't think it will be a huge problem if you
order NC$$ tickets before the Badger showdown (presumably
"buy both" means buy both at the same time, so those who
only by Badger Showdown tickets can't then claim the be
group 3....). I will ask some people at the Athletic
Department what they know about this, and see if they
have any real or projected numbers.

	4. I strongly suggesst you write a letter to the Bradley
Center complaining about the policy, as (in your words)
a "College *HOCKEY* fan" who will go regardless of who is in
the tournament. Perhaps they can put "out of state"
purchasers on the top of the list too.

And, I hope that you do attend the tournament. Several people from the
list who know Milwaukee better than I do have already volunteered to
organize hockey-l events, and I will make sure that we have network
access...
