There was a freshman goalie who was listed on the varsity roster but did not
get in a game as far as I can recall (he may have dressed a couple of times). I
don't have the season stats in front of me and I can't remember his name
off-hand. I can't believe that this came as a surprise for Welsh, and surely,
he must have recruited a goalie in preparation. Regardless, the experience
level for whoever starts will be close to zero.
